About Us

Stableright was created by John Dowling and Eve-Marie Blaise-Dowling to provide planning and installation services for horse farms in the Ottawa Valley and Quebec. We specialize in fencing, stalls and other equipment such as horse exercisers. As horsemen ourselves, with over 30 years in the industry, we saw a clear need for this type of service.

Eve-Marie Blaise is a hunter/jumper coach and rider who is well-known on the Quebec circuit. She has coached many students to provincial championships and qualification for the Royal Winter Fair. From 2001 to 2003 she successfully campaigned her grey gelding, Flash Gordon, at the Open Jumper level (photo, above right). Her insights into horses and horsemanship are invaluable in farm planning.

John Dowling has worked in many aspects of the horse industry since 1984 including showing, racing, retail and construction. He competed in eventing up the the Intermediate level. He has also worked in construction and renovation for many years. In addition to barn and arena work he is experienced in residential renovation including kitchens and historic restoration. He approaches every job with a commitment to the highest levels of professionalism and craftsmanship.
